A large commercial freighter missed the correct channel when piloting under a major highway bridge over Kentucky Lake on January 26th. The ship, the 312-foot Delta Mariner, ripped out a section of the roadway and ended up wearing part of the bridge across its bow. The vessel was carrying Atlas rocket parts for NASA, bound for Cape Canaveral.
